Green Order / Lean and Green
Green Order stimulates socially-responsible ordering and efficiency in transport. Based on the distance, volume and weight, the C02 emissions of each delivery are calculated and stated on the delivery note. This stimulates hauliers and customers to bundle orders so that the transport kilometres, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions are reduced. At the same time, we contribute to reducing traffic congestion.In 2010, we were awarded the Lean and Green Award. With this we are now recognised as one of the companies taking the lead in the Netherlands in the field of CO2 reduction in the logistics chain. We have bound ourselves to the objective of the programme to reduce our CO2 emissions by 20% by 2012 and by 25% by 2015 (with respect to 2007).
